A bunch of waiters and chefs revealed the funniest things they've ever heard in the workplace.

While working in a restaurant's back of house, or BOH, employees quickly gain a playful rapport with each other. There's nothing that builds camaraderie like being in the trenches together. When there are dozens of orders piling up and you're short-staffed, a bit of humor can help lighten the mood. Not to mention that the chefs and prep staff are hidden away from customers, so they have more leeway to use spicy language and yell to each other.

It just goes to show that working with fun people can make an eight-hour shift fly by in an instant.
